Kamal Haasan honoured writer Ki. Rajanarayanan

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's affinity to literature is not a new thing. He is voracious reader.  He always had high regard to writers and literature. He befriended with lot of writers and used them in his movies also. 

Kamal Haasan's friends in literary circle includes Jeyakanthan, Sujatha, Balakumaran, Girish Karnad, Jeyamohan, Tho Paramasivam, Gnana Sambandam, Puviyarasu, Suka and others.


On his 61st birthday , The Ulaganayagan visited popular Tamil writer Ki. Rajanarayanan and honoured him. 

Ki. Rajanarayanan fondly known Ki Ra, is a recipient of the Sahitya Akademi Award and has served as the professor of folklore studies in Pondicherry University in the 1980s.

Kamal Haasan visited Rajanarayanan at his residence this morning in Puducherry along with Suka, the writer of his forthcoming Tamil film ‘Thoongaavanam'.

The source further added that Kamal honoured the prolific writer with Rs.100,000 and spoke briefly about his health, among various other things.
