Mani Rathnam's next titled Kaatru Veliyidai

Mani Rathnam's next titled Kaatru Veliyidai : The first look posters of Mani Rathnam's next movie featuring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari was released today.

There was lot buzz about this movie from past few months. lot of things were said about this movie's plot and star cast. First it was said that Dulquer Salmaan, Karthi , Nithya Menen, Keerthi Suresh are going to act  in the film. but Dulqar Salman backed out of the project due to prior commitments. Then Premam fame Sai Pallavi's name was linked to the project. It was said in the begining that Mani Rathnam next will be an action thriller film.

By revealing the first poster of the film, Mani Rathnam has put an end to the rumors about lead actors. Karthi who is acting as a pilot in the film will be sharing screen space with Aditi Rao Hydari. As usual A.R. Rahman and Vairamuthu are taking care of Music and Songs. Ravi Verman is handling the Cinematography and Sreekar Prasad, one of the frequent collaborator of Mani Rathnam is taking care of Editing of the film. The film will be produced under Mani Rathnam's banner Madras Talikies.

Kaatru Veliyidai will reportedly begin its 40-day shooting schedule on Friday (July 8) in Ooty. The film is likely to release by the end of this year.

Aditi Rao Hydari took to Twitter to share the first look of the film. She tweeted -
