Everest : The Film is releasing on September 18

Last month I was watching 'Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation' at Carnival Cinema, Rockline Mall, Bangalore. During the interval,  they displayed a trailer of an upcoming film, which impressed me very much.

Thrilling background score, majestic view of Everest and stunning visuals  of people struggling against the nature makes the trailer more interesting. the trailer ends with the hint that the story is based on real incidents. I decided that day that I have to watch this movie upon its release. The movie is 'Everest'.

Baltasar Kormakur directed thriller Everest, is going to hit the screen in India on September 18 in 3D.

Inspired by the 1996 Mount Everest Disaster and its incredible events surrounding an attempt to reach the summit of the world's highest mountain, Everest documents the awe-inspiring journey of two different expeditions challenged beyond their limits by one of the fiercest snowstorms ever encountered by mankind.

Their mettle tested by the harshest elements found on the planet, the climbers will face nearly impossible obstacles as a lifelong obsession becomes a breathtaking struggle for survival.

Shot across the locales of Nepal, Rome and UK, Everest will focus on the challenges faced by two groups, the one that was led by Scott Fischer (played by Gyllenhaal), and the one led by Rob Hall (played by Clarke).

Written by William Nicholson, Simon Beaufoy [Slumdog Millionaire fame] The movie stars Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson and Jake Gyllenhaal. Music is by Dario Marianelli. The Universal Pictures’ movie will be releasing in India in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
