Uttama Villian wins awards at International Film Festivals

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan starrer Uttama Villian has won Los Angeles Independent Film Festival (LAIFFA) and in the Russian International Film Festival also.

Uttama Villian which was released in May, was written by Kamal Haasan and directed by Ramesh Aravind. The movie faced problem during its release and received a mixed response from viewers and critics.

The main attraction of the movie was Kamal Haasan's acting and Ghibran's Music. The Film also marked the last film of late legendary director K Balachander.

Los Angeles Independent Film Awards are given every month for film made around the world. More that 50 awards are given to best creative works each month. 

Uttama Villian has also won an award at Russian International Film Festival for Best Music - Ghibran
