Watched MTV coke studio. It was refreshing. new sound, new voices. ARR's attempt to push the boundries and bringing together the diverse culture and musical genere is evident in each song.
Zariya is my favourite song. Jordanian singer Farah Siraj along with Nepalese Buddhist Nun Ani Choying steels the show in this number.
couple of song's Naan yen and Ennile Maha Oliyo from Rehman's upcoming album Rasayana Rojakkal (Chemical roses) were also performed. Naan yen contains the lyrics written by late Vaali sir who passed away recently. looking forward to this (Rasayana Rojakkal) album.
what I liked about the songs is that, it jumps from one level to another musicaly and emotionaly.
Rehman is used lot of new talents. He has used few young talents from his music school KM conservatory. eagerly waiting for next episode.
